"When we met, I saw instantly that Derek had also been meeting with the Lord. There was a new gentleness in his voice, a brokenness in his whole demeanor. We served ourselves at the buffet and chatted as the waiter brought our tea. Then, characteristically, Derek came to the point: 'I prayed it through in Adelaide. I still believe it is God's will.
